The building is 480m2 and is supplied as a kit that can be set up with local contractors under the supervision of a construction manager from Holistic Ecohouse AS. It has plenty of options for personalisation in terms of interior, materials on floors, tiles, kitchens, etc.
Approval has already been given for the construction of a pilot building to be set up at a beautiful site by the seaside on an idyllic island near the city of Bergen in Norway. The building is perfectly located with regard to the direction of the sun, access, panoramic view over the ocean in three directions, etc. A large garage and a pier will also be built on the site. Major press coverage on the prototype of the world’s healthiest building is expected. Discovery Channel, for instance, has indicated that they would like to include the pilot building in a documentary about extraordinary eco-buildings.
